   Het dichtst kan ik denken van dit NT is. Geen ideeën voor OT,l]Closest I can think of is this NT. No ideas for the OT, though.]

   You might try Young’s Literal Translation. Go to and set the version to Young’s.

   For example, the NKJV reads this way at John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

   In the KJV, it reads: 14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

   But in the Young’s Literal Translation, it reads: 14And the Word became flesh, and did tabernacle among us, and we beheld his glory, glory as of an only begotten of a father, full of grace and truth.

   Probably the most literal translation is “Young’s Literal Translation” which can be found at:

   an even more literal to the nuances of the Greek language translation can be found in “Wuest’s Expanded Translation of the Greek New Testament” – but I don’t know if you can find this on line.

   Young’s Literal Translation is what you are looking for. Go to and select YNG as your preferred translation. Other online Bible sites should also have this translation It is very, very literal.

   Bible isn’t easy to read and understand…there are many styles of writings and the time the writer made it was so different from our current time…

   For example:
   In Genesis about the making of the universe…
   When the Spirit mentioned God made it in 7 days it doesn’t mean 7 times 24 hours, but 1 day for God means millions of years…and the word 7 has another meaning…which is ‘MANY’ times…

   You may remember when Jesus mentioned we should forgive our friends 7 x 77 times? That means many times of forgiving…not exactly 539 times…

   Bible isn’t an easy book, but with the Spirit we could learn and understand God message in it…

   In the old days, the Catholic Church didn’t want people out of the Church authorities to read Bible because she (the Church) didn’t want people to misinterpret it…which by Martin Luther was oppossed ( Luther wanted the Bible to spead widely and that ordinary people can read it)…she gave the things in dogmas..

   Until Vatican II Council (in about 1963) then the Church let and suggested the faithful to read Bible by themselves…

   No hay ninguna traducción literal, sino super sus traducciones son interlineal con el original hebreo o el texto griego y la palabra Inglés encima de ella. Se pueden pedir en los editores de libros cristianos o muchos otros vendedores de libros en Internet. Good Luck

   No hay tal cosa para la extensión del género literario no lo permite. Cuando la Escritura dice que "tenía las mejillas como granadas", su traducción solicitada diría – "tenía las mejillas granadas", porque esa es la traducción literal. Usted no tendrá la verdad de lo que el autor quiso decir. El lenguaje es mucho, mucho más profundo que eso. Sólo tiene que crecer y asumir la responsabilidad de lo que está leyendo en lugar de pedir a alguien que "decir lo que significa". Esta es la mierda! Ir a tomar un curso de lengua y empezar a aprender a interpretar el género literario.

   I was reading a Bible Study tonight that talked about the virtual impossibility of reading the Bible like a book from beginning to end. It wasn’t compiled that way. Scott Hahn has written a lot about salvation history and how understanding the various convenants between God and humanity is crucial to understanding the Bible as an overall read.

   To your question… St. Jerome’s Latin Vulgate is a very old translation (commissioned in 382 AD). However, it probably isn’t online, and you probably don’t read Latin. An older Bible based exactly on the Vulgate is the Douay Rheims

    Nou, het eerste wat je moet realiseren is dat de meer woord voor woord een letterlijke vertaling is, hoe meer het zal zijn vaak onnauwkeurig. Het is waar, en het is een tendens alom erkend door vertalers (maar niet alom erkend door niet-vertalers). Een zeer letterlijke vertaling is handig als u van plan om oorspronkelijke taal woord studie doen. Echter, als je onwetend bent * * van de grammatica en woordenschat van de oorspronkelijke talen, een zeer letterlijke vertaling is eigenlijk een nadeel voor het begrijpen van de bijbel. Dat gezegd zijnde, de meest letterlijke moderne, wetenschappelijke vertaling (met uitzondering van interlineaire bijbels) is de New American Standard Bible.
