The best one by far is the original in Greek.
It’s definitely the most accurate, and in its original state it’s easier to appreciate the artistry of the literature.
I can’t say I understand everything since I’m not fluent in Greek, but it’s still my favourite.
El mejor para mí es la New King James Estudio de la Biblia. Habrá muchas respuestas diferentes a esa pregunta, pero la NKJSB es muy good.I leer una versión diferente a través de cada año.
While I mostly use French and Spanish Bibles, in English I tend to use the New American Standard Bible, and the New King James Bible (because I have a fairly large print one!)
The King James Bible is a masterpiece of English literature; and excellent translation. However it is NOT a divinely inspired translation. It is based on manuscripts that Erasmus put together. However Erasmus was lacking some of the Greek manuscripts, and to make up for it, he actually trasnlated part of Revelation from the Latin Vulgate to Greek!!!
On the other hand, the KJV was put together by a team of scholars, they did an excellent job. But the English language, like every other living language, changes in meaning over the centuries. The advantage of a more modern translation is twofold:
1) The English words say what they actually mean today
2) We have much more accurate, and more numerous Greek manuscripts for the New Testament.
Some protest that certain modern translations have “liberal” scholars on their team. However each one of those also has very conservative scholars, and they check on eachother, making sure that the translation is not influenced by personal theology.
Remember that the KJV was ordered (not translated) by King James, who himself was a pervert, at a time when there was a Catholic trasnlation, and a Protestant translation (the Geneva Bible). He ordered the Authorized Version (reall name of the KJV) in order to try to unify theological thought in the United Kingdom. He wanted to fight the puritans on one hand, and the Catholics on the other. His intention was more political than spiritual. That did not prevent the xholars from doing a fantastic job. It’s just that we mustn’t deify their work, and think that we mus remain forever with that translation.
Edit:
In the case of just about every translation done in modern times, there is a large team of experts working on it with an even larger team of consultants, from a variety of theological position (denominations, etc.), who make sure there are no tendentious translations. The only exception to this that I know of is the New World translation by the Jehovah’s Witnesses, which was done with the specific purpose of justifying the existence of that particular group. I have, in the past, compared it to the Greek and found a number of mistranslations in it.
In the other translations, they are all accurately translated; the differences do not lie in alleged mistakes by others, simply in the emphasis given to certain meanings. (It is virtually impossible to literally translate anything from any language). That is why I recommend using a variety of translations if you want to do serious Bible study.
The best translation? – the one you read!!!

The quote about loveee.
Ich gehe zurück zum Griechen (neues Testament irgendwie) – ich bevorzugen die neue korrigierter Standard-Version für Englisch.
